About Us

Fenn Lanes Ringers are a group of friends from Leicestershire and Warwickshire who regularly meet together to keep the traditional English art of church bell ringing alive.

Towards the end of 2008 we thought it would be good to have a group name and poloshirts for those of us who ring together regularly.  This gives us a distinct appearance, brings us more together at practices and makes us identifiable on outings and when we ring for services and weddings.

We mostly come from an area including Polesworth in the west and Narborough in the east.  Central to that area, a Roman road called Fenn Lanes runs from Fenny Drayton to Sutton Cheney so we chose that name for our group.

Anyone is welcome at our practices.  No previous experience is necessary.  Our aim is that we should all enjoy ringing well.
